PARTNERSHIP ENABLES HOMESTRETCH TO HELP NORTHERN VIRGINIA HOMELESS FAMILIES ACHIEVE SELF-SUFFICIENCY
Tysons, VA – May 10, 2016—Integrity Management Consulting, Inc. (Integrity), a provider of major systems acquisition and program management support services to federal clients, announced today it is the headline sponsor of the Homestretch Annual Benefit Breakfast for the third straight year. The event is the most important fundraiser of the year for Homestretch, an award-winning non-profit whose mission is to empower homeless families to attain permanent housing and self-sufficiency.
Homestretch provides clients with subsidized housing in addition to comprehensive services, such as employment counseling, financial and computer literacy education, domestic violence support, legal services, tutoring, and child care. Consistently recognized by the Catalogue for Philanthropy as one of the Washington region’s best-run small non-profits, Homestretch is also the frequent recipient of honors from organizations such as the Fairfax County Human Rights Commission, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the Washington Post. “We are committed to supporting Homestretch because we believe in its proven model of transforming the lives of homeless families,” said Integrity Chief Strategy Officer Mary Beth Romani.
With its $25,000 contribution, Integrity will enable Homestretch to share the inspiring stories of local families, who have made the journey from homelessness to self-reliance, with hundreds of potential donors. Romani says, “I have heard the amazing success stories of clients who entered the Homestretch program in dire situations and frankly, without hope. To hear how clients have overcome unimaginable circumstances to learn critical skills, find jobs, pay off debt, and even in some cases buy their first home is truly inspiring. How can you not want to help others write their own success story?”
Integrity has supported Homestretch since its founding a decade ago, from providing corporate financial support and employee donations to hands-on service projects. “Homestretch is a results-oriented organization that is achieving success metrics far beyond what other programs yield,” said Romani. “We chose Homestretch as our long-term community partner because through this partnership, we know we are investing wisely in our community and changing lives.”
