Integrity Announces $25,000 Sponsorship of Homestretch
Supports effort to help Northern Virginia homeless families achieve self-sufficiency
Tysons, VA – May 11, 2015—Integrity Management Consulting, Inc. (Integrity), a provider of major systems acquisition and program management support services to federal clients, announced today it is the feature sponsor of the Homestretch Inc. Annual Benefit Breakfast. The May 13 event is the most important fundraiser of the year for Homestretch, a non-profit whose mission is to empower homeless families with children to attain permanent housing and self-sufficiency.
With a $25,000 contribution, Integrity will enable Homestretch to share with hundreds of potential donors the inspiring stories of Virginia families who have made the journey from homelessness to self-reliance. Homestretch provides clients with services such as subsidized housing, employment counseling, financial and computer literacy education, domestic violence support, legal services, tutoring and child care. It is an award-winning organization that has been recognized by the Catalogue for Philanthropy as one of the Washington region’s best-run small non-profits and just last year won multiple recognitions, including the Fair Housing Award from the Fairfax County Human Rights Commission and Helping Hand Award from the Washington Post.
“We’re proud to support Homestretch because we have several core values in common, including being results-driven,” said Integrity Chief Strategy Officer Mary Beth Romani. “Homestretch has a proven track record of taking people from a truly crisis situation to a point two years later where not only are they self-sufficient but some are also in a position to buy their own home. Its commitment to developing skills and providing education for both parents and children is critically important to breaking the cycle of poverty.”
Integrity has supported Homestretch since 2006, both financially and through employee donations of food, clothing, toys, and pro bono services. In 2014, Integrity announced a three-year, $100,000 commitment to Homestretch. “Every day Homestretch is writing dozens of turn-around stories,” said Romani. “We hope our support will convince others in the business community to make a financial commitment that will help Homestretch continue to transform lives.”
The Homestretch Annual Benefit Breakfast will take place on Wednesday, May 13 at the Fairview Park Marriott, Falls Church, VA. Learn more about Homestretch.
